CALABAR GIRLS BANNED, MEGA MOVIES, PRINCE JUSTIN AND OTHERS SUSPENDED



The chairman and national spokesman of the Film and videos producers and marketers association of Nigeria (FVPMAN) have today taken action against some of their members that acted contrary to their rules concerning nudity in home videos.
The national spokesman Barr. Nobert ajaegbu described in his statement labeled those films as been capable of corrupting public morals. Consequently, he announced the action taken against defaulters of their bylaws that ensures that no film will enter into the markers without censors’ board approval. He  said that as at the moment the censors board are bringing in machines to test the authenticity of the certificates presented by some of the marketers but that it will not stop them from taking action. The films affected are calabar girls, calabar connections,  get rich and die young,  ladies affair and forward tigers.
The marketers affected include mega movies, prince justin, onye-eze and amongst others have been suspended indefinitely. He also stated that their taskforce have been mandated to confiscate and sweep those materials out of the market within twenty- four hours.
