Director, Leila Djansi has finally announced the main cast for the new web series, Poison Bait, she is directing for Iroko TV and young Ghanaian actress, Marie Humbert leads some of the continent’s big name actors on the project.
The 2014 African movie Academy Awards supporting actress nominee is playing lead actress alongside celebrated names; Adjetey Anang, Mary Remmy Njoku, Gideon Okeke, John Dumelo, Ama K Abebrese, Naa Ashorkor Mensah, Grace Omoboe aka Maame Dokono, Edward Agyekum Kufuor and a host others.
Poisoned Bait is led by Marie Humbert who plays Ariel, a literary agent and her client, Betty, (Marry Remmy Njoku) who’s book on marriage creates a juxtaposition between her own marriage and Ariel’s marriage to Henry (Adjetey Anang) which is threatened by the presence of her ex-Bernard (Gideon Okeke).
